Mark Fox is a British theatre historian and former performer whose career in the entertainment industry spans more than 30 years. Beginning his professional life as an actor and dancer, he later moved into theatre management and marketing, spending three decades with the London West End theatre group now known as LW Theatres, where he holds responsibilities for major venues including the London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
A dedicated advocate for theatre heritage, Mark has been President of PERSPECTIV, the Association of Historic Theatres in Europe, since 2019. He also serves as Chairman of the Frank Matcham Society, Honorary Treasurer of the Society for Theatre Research, and a Trustee of the Stoll Moss Theatres Pension Scheme. His longstanding involvement in the performing arts community extends to the British Music Hall Society, the Grand Order of Water Rats, and the Club for Acts and Actors.
