She is a Swedish ethnologist and senior consultant at the County Museum of Østfold in Norway. The museum owns and manages Fredrikshalds Teater in the city of Halden. Founded in 1838 by the local elite, the theatre continues to serve as an important cultural hub in the small town, near the Swedish border.
Her work currently at the theatre focuses on ongoing development, including a scholarly project examining the theatre’s role in the lives of contemporary residents. She also coordinates the Nordic route of PERSPECTIV Theatre members across Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, overseeing joint initiatives that promote mutual learning and understanding. She has been a member of the PERSPECTIV board since 2022.
