With a professional background in law and specialized studies in Humanities and Administrative Law, Benedetta Diamanti has built a long and distinguished career in cultural management. For many years, she has served as Head of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Faenza, where she has overseen a wide range of cultural initiatives, including the coordination, maintenance and enhancement of the historic Municipal Theatre “Angelo Masini”.
Her experience spans numerous cultural sectors - museums, libraries, exhibitions, events, ceramic heritage promotion, and historical re-enactments - reflecting a deep commitment to cultural development and territorial identity. Since August 2018, she has been Director of the “European Route of Ceramics,” a certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe that brings together members from 15 European countries.
She has extensive expertise in European project design and management, with multiple experiences in developing and implementing EU-funded initiatives.
Currently, she serves as Director of the Culture, Tourism and Economic Development Area of the Unione della Romagna Faentina, the administrative body comprising six municipalities including Faenza, and also leads its European Projects Area. She continues to direct the European Route of Ceramics and acts as Vice President of PERSPECTIV.
